Commercial Task Chairs are built to be supportive in many positions. The controls should be easy to operate and usable by the operator when seated. The seat pad be large enough and tilt backwards or forwards plus have a "waterfall" shaped front edge. The back pad is ideally height adjustable and tilts to different angles relative to the seat pad. Cushioning must be firmer in the seat pad. Better quality foam products are moulded to recommended ergonomic shape.	Seating position when working with a desktop computer. Feet should be flat on floor or foot rest; knees be slightly lower than hips; elbows and forearms level with the desktop. Computer monitor is best placed to be approximately at arms length whilst the body is against the chair backrest. The monitor height is best at an angle for the eyes to see it whilst neck and shoulder muscles are comfortably relaxed. This is usually found at about chin height level with the centre of the screen.
